Extremely bad experience with Fastfix!!! Our car battery was replaced a week ago by them and was still under warranty... (12month) but it has since fail twice. About a week after the change of battery, the car was unable to start and we called Fastfix to come over to do a check and of course a jump start since it is under warranty. It took them quite long to reach and they even demanded a service fee of $50. A few days later, we are unable to start the car again. We called them and this time round we waited for about close to 4 hours. And since this bad service and we seriously doubt their responsibility, we decided to engage another company knowing the fact that Fastfix will charged us for their services anyway even with the valid warranty. Luckily, we engaged a third party (cheaper) if not we may never know the real reason of this battery failure. It was discovered that screws was not tighten properly (during the battery change) and because of that, the battery was not able to be charged by the alternator. Even with a jump start, the battery will still go flat after awhile. This only show how unprofessional they are to not realise the loose screws caused by them after the change and even during our re-engagement with them. Or perhaps the screws were left loose with hidden agenda.read more

What surprised me about the service from the very beginning was the professionalism of the staff manning the hotline.... When the lady picked up the call, I thought that it was a pre-recorded message but I soon realised that an actual person was speaking to me. Was pretty desperate when the car died on me after midnight. Found FastFix after doing a google search and saw good... reviews so i decided to give it a try. It definitely didn't disappoint! It costs a minimum of $60 for the mechanic to come down and diagnose the problem. A change of battery was required in my case so i paid a total of $220 in the end. Mechanic Bobby, who came down within 30min, was very knowledgeable and professional in the way he dealt with the problem. Just had my car... battery changed after 29 months with my last Amaron car battery purchased through AA recovery service in September 2012 when my previous battery literally 'died' on my car on my way to roti part breakfast at Jalan Kayu. Car battery was changed after a good 90 minutes wait on the side of the road and so I did not want to risk it again.
